What is Agricultural Communication ?

Communication in Agriculture.

“Agriculture is a broad term to describe all parts of the food and natural resources system. It includes animals (livestock and pets), food, nutrition, farms, and the environment. When you see “agricultural” organization, that could be a food manufacturer or distributor such as Kellogg’s or Trader Joe’s, a horse breed association, an environmental nonprofit, or a farmer group, to name just a few. Many media companies also look for journalists to cover agricultural topics. Communication includes public relations, advertising, journalism, and video/radio production. The two combined are referred to as agricultural communication” (Abrams 2018).
